Google releases Wallpapers App on Android

Google released Wallpapers, an Android application to browse a variety of device wallpapers taken from Google Earth, Google+ and other partners.

As reported by Android Central, the Wallpapers app allows users to browse wallpapers in a variety of categories, including Earth, Landscape, Cityscapes, Life and Textures, report agencies.

While the app works on devices running Android 4.1 and up, Android Central reported that users “running Jelly Bean to Marshmallow” can only change their devices’ home screen wallpaper with the app.

Meanwhile, users with Android 7.0 and above can choose one wallpaper for their lock screen and another for their home screen.

Finally, the app allows users to select a category and automatically receive a new wallpaper each day.

The Wallpapers app is available to download for free on Google Play.
